James (Jim) Pryor, 91, of Laurel, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Jones County Nursing Home in Ellisville.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 7 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Danny Pitts will officiate.

Mr. Pryor retired from Laurel Machine & Foundry where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Shady Grove.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Pryor of Laurel; step-son, Franklin Bailey and wife Kathy of Virginia, Minn.; step-daughter, Linda Ball and husband Jerry of Stateline; brother, J. N. Pryor and wife Jean of Laurel; sister, Doris Harter and husband Bill of San Diego, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Pryor, Jay Pryor, Jasper Pryor, Brent Adkins, Wade Adkins, Lyle Wood, Jerry Ball, and Doug Hinton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Moss and Robert Lyle.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Saturday at Memory Chapel of Laurel which is in charge of the arrangements.
