Diane Todd Gatlin

Diane Todd Gatlin met her Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, February 4, 2022 just eight days before her 62nd birthday. Diane was born and raised in a Christian home in Miami, FL. She spent her adult life in NC, Tallahassee, FL, and the last three years in Laurel, MS with her adoring husband, Ben. Diane was a proficient secretary where she could put her love of people and “gift of gab” to good use. She loved to get into animated discussions and storytelling sessions. She enjoyed watching football and showing her love for America. She treasured her family and family gatherings. Her true passion was music and she loved to sing gospel songs in her beautiful alto voice. Diane and Ben were members of the First Baptist Church of Laurel, MS. Diane is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ben, of Laurel; parents, Cliff and Betty Todd of Tallahassee, FL; mother-in-law, Myrtis (Roland-deceased) Gatlin of Laurel; step daughter, Melody (Joshua) Holifield and their children RB, Skylar and Amelie of Fort Rucker, AL; step son, Taylor (Allison) Gatlin of Pearl, MS; sisters, Yvonne (Sal) Arnaldo of Tallahassee, FL; Karen (Mike) Belk of Jacksonville, FL; Nancy (Rob) Linebarger of Alligator Point, FL; nephews and nieces, Paul (Laurie) Arnaldo and children Jacob and Emma of Tallahassee; Gina (Andre’) Cantrell and children Layla, Claire, and Langston of Houston, TX; Peter Belk of Tampa, FL; Andrew (Hope) Belk and children Bradley and Daniel of Jacksonville, FL; Joshua (Molly) Belk of Nashville, TN; Dustin (Beth) Harmon of Harrison, TN; sisters-in-law Suzie (Scott) Walker and their son, Seth of Laurel, MS; Cindy (Chris) Creel of Laurel, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home from 12:30 until service time at 2:00 p.m., also at Memory Chapel. Interment will follow to Salem Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Randy Turner, and Dr. Jack Evans will officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Arnaldo, Peter Belk, Andrew Belk, Joshua Belk, Dustin Harmon, and Rob Linebarger.
