Judith Ann Roberson

Judith Ann “Juju” Lott Roberson Judy “Juju” Roberson died October 20, 2012 at her residence. After a multiyear battle with cancer, and a gallant fight, God took her home. Judy was born in Canton, Mississippi, September 19, 1944, to Charles E. “Buddy” and Claudean Lott. She moved about the state of Mississippi throughout her life but lived back in Laurel for the past thirty years, where she and her husband reared their children. She was a devout Christian and member of Journey Church, Laurel, MS. The service(s) will be held at Memory Chapel, Laurel, MS, with Brother(s) Robby Johnson and Valton Douglas officiating. Visitation is Saturday, October 27, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and the funeral service is Sunday, October 28, at 2:00 PM. A graveside prayer service will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery, in the NE Jones community, Laurel, MS. Judy recently celebrated her 50th George S. Gardner High School class reunion and her 68th “Surprise” birthday, both among many friends and family. She was employed by Dunn Road Builders for twelve years until retirement four years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Roberson, Jr., and her parents, Charles E. “Buddy” Lott and Claudean Lambert Stermer. She is survived by her son Timothy J. Roberson (Scharlett), daughter, Tammi Roberson Davidson, daughter, Traci Roberson English (Michael), and son, Thomas A. “Tandy” Roberson (Beth); Grandchildren, Travis Taylor (Wyndy), Casey Davidson (Ashley), Zach Davidson, Hayley Davidson, Ashley Roberson, Allison Wigley, Brooks Roberson, Zach English; Great Grandchildren, Fletcher Taylor, Emersyn Taylor; unofficial adopted grandchildren, Caitlyn Freeman, Ashton Williams, Seth West; and siblings, Charles E. “Corky” Lott, Betty Gail Lott Walters, and Terri Lott Hagood. The children and extended family wish to express sincere gratitude to, Dr. N.P. Bellare, MD, nurse’s, Gloria and Dolly, Kevin, of Hattiesburg Hope Hospice, and Dr. Jack Evans (her dear friend and doctor for many years) for the loving, kind, gentle, and wonderful care she received. Memory Chapel of Laurel is in charge of the arrangements. REVELATION 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
