Keith Gregory Eilermann Nov. 10, 1943 Feb. 17, 2016 Gulfport, MS Keith Gregory Eilermann, 72, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2016 at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, MS. He was the husband and best friend of Janet Marie Tolar-Eilermann. They shared a loving and remarkable 45 years of marriage together. Born in St. Louis Missouri on November 10, 1943, he was the son of the late Dorothy Ortwerth and stepson of the late Herbert Ortwerth, and son of the late Joseph Eilermann. He is survived by his spouse, Janet Eilermann, his children, Chad Eilermann and Jenée Daigle, his daughter-in-law, Da Eilermann, his son-in law, Tim Daigle, his brother-in-law, Terry Tolar and his beloved grandchildren, Sean and Luke Eilermann. He is also survived by several close relatives in the Laurel and Jackson areas. Keith lived in Gulfport, MS, and worked as a licensed real estate broker and property investor for his privately-owned real estate firm, Key Realty. He graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in Clayton, Missouri in 1961. His education continued, as he attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated with a double BA degree in Art and Sociology in 1967. During his undergraduate education, Keith proudly became a lifetime member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. After his graduation, Keith began working as a computer programmer for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the computer programming field. He later received his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) in Hattiesburg, MS in 1980. He retired from the military in 1988 as a Major, after proudly serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. After Air Force retirement, Keith continued advancing his career and served as a senior management consultant for several companies in the Washington, DC – Northern, VA areas. After serving 20 years as a consultant, Keith soon pursued his passion for real estate, earning his brokers' licenses in the states of Virginia and Mississippi. Keith will be remembered for his passion for life, traveling the world, singing Frank Sinatra songs in numerous cruise ship competitions, camping in his RV, flying his drone, practicing his simulation flying, playing guitar, taking photographs, and spending time with his beloved family as a proud husband, father and grandfather to two grandsons and one beloved grandpup. The visitation will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, MS, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 pm. The burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, following the visitation and memorial services. The Very Reverend James B. Roberts of Biloxi Mississippi will officiate.
