Natalie Brynn Touchstone

Natalie Brynn Touchstone of Laurel, MS, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at USA Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Mobile, AL. Natalie was the 11 year old daughter of Joel and Christl Touchstone. Natalie finished 6th grade at Glade Elementary this year and was excited about moving on to Northeast Middle School. She was a friend to everyone she knew and always showed kindness. She was a light in a dark world, a pure and sweet Christian example. Nat Nat was an avid animal lover. She wanted to save every stray animal and had several of her very own. Her favorite pets were her dog, Bo and her cat, Sadie, but she loved them all! Natalie loved hanging out with her daddy at their farm, especially when the baby chicks were delivered. They spent a lot of time taking care of the chickens and cows. One of her favorite hobbies was deer hunting with her daddy. She looked forward to deer season every year. Summertime brought a lot of fun for Natalie and her baby sister Lydia Grace. They spent countless hours swimming and playing outside. Lydia was Nat Nat’s little shadow and she adorable her big Sissy. Many memories were made playing Barbies, playing with Legos, jumping on the trampoline and playing tag. Natalie’s favorite things were Jesus, her family and her animals!!! She was such a light to everyone around her. She took time out of each day to send Bible verses and just say “I love you” to her friends and family. She paid attention to the details. She checked on people and had a way of making everyone feel loved and important. She was like a “little momma” in the way she took care of those around her. She loved her cousins and lived life to the fullest every time they were together. Natalie was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ray and Jan Gatlin. She is survived by her daddy, Joel and her momma, Christl, her three sisters, Anniston Smith, Ashlynn Rayner (Tyler) and Lydia Grace Touchstone. Pallbearers: Derek Odom, Rob Lenox, Tyler Rayner, Brady Shaw, Preston Odom, Seth Cochran, and Mikey Bustin. Honorary pallbearer: Kyle Roberson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Journey Church-North Laurel, 4140 MS-15, Laurel, MS 39443. Funeral services will take place at Journey Church-North Laurel on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 10:00 am. Bro. Robby Johnson and Bro. Douglas Clark will officiate.
