Patrick Randall Austin Walters

Patrick Randall Austin Walters was born in Laurel, MS on October 20, 1990. Patrick was a Jones County native and attended North East Jones High School and Jones County Junior College. He was a member of Life Church in Laurel, MS. Patrick loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His laughter was contagious, his smile could brighten anyone’s day, and he never seemed to meet a stranger. Patrick was the kind of friend that everyone deserves to have. He always made a point to be sure that each of his friends and family members knew exactly how much he loved them and that he would always be there for them. He was preceded in death by: Grandparents- Laquita Walters, Pauline West, and Max Hodge, Siblings- Eric Saul and Patrick Norman, Cousin- Taylor Morad. Survivors include: Parents- Gail Walters of Gulfport, MS and Randy Walters (Patrice) of Laurel, MS; Grandparents- Norman and Patsy Walters of Laurel, MS, Siblings-Windy Mercer (Danny) of Biloxi, MS, Mary Brandon Johnston (Kirk) of Destin, FL, Louis Norman (Brittney) of Collins, MS, Brittany Norman of Oxford, MS, Brooke Norman of Oxford, MS, Bailee Norman of Mt. Olive, MS and Lake Hancock (Kimberly) of Sandersville, MS, Nieces and nephews- Brady Biglane, Chandon Johnson, and Ellie Norman. Cousins- Alex Schmitt, Markia Nine (Alberto), Luca and Valentina Nine, Micah Morad, Brittan Rayner, Akira Binuya, Brandon Graves (Allison), Sawyer Sparks (Blaise), Max Edwards, Macy Edwards, Raney Livingston (Jeff), Vonda Kitchens (Shane), Isaac Hodge, Aunts and Uncles- Lisa Walters, Rick Walters (Janet), Teresa Edwards AKA Aunt Tink (Shaun), James Hodge (Lynn), Stephanie Schmitt (Chris), and Special friend- Erin Wood Services will be held at Life Church 5021 HWY 84 W, Laurel, MS. Visitation- Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. Funeral- Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00am. Graveside service to follow at Myrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rain Down Christian Ministries. Your donations will go toward providing scholarships for youth hunters who attend The Patrick Walters Memorial Hunt in November of 2018. All donations will be tax deductible.
