Bonnie Williams Keith. 89, passed away Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, at her home by her daughter's side. She was born March 11th, 1935, and raised in the tight-knit community of Antioch near Laurel, Mississippi, to her late parents John and Vera Lovett. She resided her entire adult life in the Glade Community. Growing up in a large family with several siblings, Bonnie learned the value of love and unity. Sadly, her siblings have passed away: John Lovett, Hannon Lovett, Robert Lovett, Joe Lovett, Esther Deas, James Lovett, and Jessie Beech. In 1952, Bonnie married Frankie Joe Williams and they had two children together. Their marriage was filled with happiness until Joe’s passing due to cancer in 1993. However, Bonnie found love again when she married Leo Keith, and they shared a strong bond until his passing as well. As a devout Christian, Bonnie was an active member of her local church where she not only taught Sunday school but also used her beautiful singing voice to praise God through gospel songs. Her love for music extended beyond the church walls and even led her to perform on local gospel radio stations. She loved to cook and garden, but above all else, Bonnie's greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family. She took great pride in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow throughout the years. She raised two children and two of her grandchildren. She survived the Glade tornado when her house was destroyed with her and her family inside. She was the embodiment of hard work and fortitude. In 1957, she was a Woolworth Dixie Bell when Laurel celebrated their Diamond Jubilee 1882-1957 celebrating 75 years. Though she mourned the loss of her son Frankie Lane Williams (Karen) before her passing, she leaves behind a loving daughter Darlene Dearmon (Ray) along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored: Frankie Lane Williams Jr., Roderick Williams (Leslie), Evan Williams, Jeremy Clark (Bridget), Jordan Clark (Grace), Whitney Whittington (Tyler), Allison Dearmon, Jeremy Dearmon and Whitney Toney. Cathrynn Ambercrombie (Nolan), Caitlynn Williams, Samantha Williams, Donovan Williams, Aries Terrell, Hayden Williams, Seth Clark, and Elias Clark. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Glen Beech and stepchildren: Kenny Keith (Vickie), Patricia Cooley (Lanny), Gail Rittenhouse (Keith), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Lovett Jr, Roderick Williams, Jeremy Clark, Evan Williams, Jordan Clark, Tyler Whittington. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Clark, Elias Clark Services will be at The Rock Church at 635 MS-15 S Laurel MS Sunday, May 19th. Visitation at 2 p.m. with service at 3 p.m. Pastors will be Brother Jerry Rowley and Brother Rayborn Huff. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Church Cemetery.
