Deborah Jean Davis

December 20, 1953 - April 16, 2022

Deborah Jean Davis, age 68, joined her mother in heaven on April 16, 2022. She was joined in marriage to Walter R. Davis on December 31, 1973, a union that lasted 48 years. She was preceded by her father Edward Heath, her mother Dorothy Depasquale and a brother Angelo Depasquale. She is survived by her husband Walter; her sons, Christian (Shyla) and Jeremy; two loved grandchildren, Kevin Joseph and Bailee Hope; sisters, Sharon Hendrix, Teresa Barnes (Bill), Angela Barnard (David) and Laurie Wright; brothers, James Heath (Linda), Brian Heath (Cindy), Kevin Heath (Karen), Joseph Heath (Cindy), and Anthony Depasquale (Hertha); and her father, Eugene Depasquale. Debbie served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1976. She was a member of Henry P. Smith Post 24 American Legion, Henry P. Smith Unit 24 Women’s Auxiliary, and VFW Post 2246 Auxiliary, all in Rome, New York. Pallbearers will be Christian Davis, Jeremy Davis, Joseph Davis, Danny Davis, Joey Davis, and Roger Wiersema. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 21st at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Visitation services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21st. Interment to follow at Sandersville Cemetery. Memory Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made in her name to H.P. Smith Unit #24 Women’s Auxiliary in Rome, New York.
