November 21, 1991 - March 3, 2021
Kerri Learlean Kelley, 29 years old, born on November 21, 1991 in Meridian, MS and raised in Clarke County, MS, left this earth on March 3, 2021. No one loved life more than Kerri. She loved to make people laugh, she loved hugs, and she loved her family and friends like no other. I know that she would not want us to sit aroung crying and missing her because that is just the type of person she was. Kerri always saw the good in people, even if they did her wrong. She was forgiving and would give her last dime to a complete stranger. She was strong in so many ways, from fighting cancer to fighting her demons. She loved her babies and always wanted what was best for them even if it meant them not being with her. She knew her faults and she accepted it for what it was. She always said she did not want any lies told about her at her funeral, so I am doing my best to keep true to my word. She was a handful from the day she was born. She was always a wild child. She will always be remembered as the loud mouth of the room, the jokester, but also the person someone could go to for a kind word. She saw beauty in everything. Something as simple as a penny on the ground, to the perfect sky that God had made for that day, whatever it may have been, she saw beauty. I know she is looking down on us all smiling because she sees what a commotion she has made by us loosing her. She would not want us crying. She would want us rejoicing because she is finally set free and her questions are answered. She wants us to be happy because she is finally home. Kerri was preceded in death by her father David Wesley Kelley, grandfathers Max Ray Lewis and Jimmy Kelley, grandmother Mary Ann Lewis, uncle Corey Kelley, and cousin Danielle Tanner Beckman. She is survived by her children Addison Danielle Kelley, Jackson Lee Kelley and Dawson Eason; mother Tressa Kelley, stepfather Andy Shirley, sisters Summer Foster (Zach), Montana Turner and Alyssa Shirley, brothers Ethan (Gus) Shirley and Austin Shirley, niece Dixie Foster, uncles Patrick Kelley, Jimmy Kelley (Lisa) and B. L. Shirley, aunts Sherry Coody (Roger), Beverly Skelton, Seleca Shirley, Rhonda Walters, Paula Hill, Lana Chandler, Kay Thompson and Pamela Fairchild, grandmothers Vera Ford and Jewel Shirley, and a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
