Larry A. Campbell

December 31, 1948 - February 5, 2022

Larry A. Campbell passed away on February 5, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel at the age of 73. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Soso Community Center. The family invites you to come and celebrate a new beginning because death isn’t the end, but a welcoming to the Lord’s kingdom. Larry Allen Campbell has started his new beginning of life, riding his bike through the place we could only dream of. Larry was born to Minnie R. Barefoot on December 31, 1948. Larry worked at Howard Transportation for eight years and day detective security for six years, along with many other jobs. Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda Campbell, three sons, Larry W. Campbell and wife Jessica Campbell, Carson B. Campbell and wife, Renee Campbell, and Allen Campbell and wife, Michelle Campbell; one daughter Shannon Watson and husband, Andrew Watson; eleven grandchildren, Brooke, Larry Jr., Harley, Raven, Gavin, Natleigh, Kynsleigh, Sierra, Chase, Dallas, and Jade; and one great grandchild, Aulani Nicole. Other than his amazing family, Larry loved his motorcycle. After getting sick he was no longer able to ride. As we say our goodbyes, we are going to take Larry on his final ride home. Keep the bikes running for us so when we see you again there is no wait to ride off with you. You may be gone but never forgotten. We love you. See you on the other side.
