Robert Lee Scoggins of Laurel, Mississippi died unexpectedly at his residence on May 20th 2022. He was born in Kilmichael, Mississippi on February 04, 1939. Robert was the son of Jimmie Lee Scoggins and Lula May (Love) Scoggins. After a short term in the Air Force National Guard, Robert graduated from college with a degree in ART and painted many highway billboards over his career while employed with Lamar signs of Jackson and Hedrick’s Sign Company in Laurel. He met and married Lillian Fay (Brownlee) Scoggins and they have two sons, Sean and Michael. They lived in Laurel Mississippi since 1974. Robert and Lillian were married 55 years at his passing. Robert had four sisters, one predeceased, Annie, and three sisters surviving, Margarete, Linda, and Barbera. Robert is survived by his wife and two sons.
