Thomas R. Middleton Jr, 64, passed away on June 7, 2022. He was born on Sept 9, 1957, to Thomas R. Middleton Sr and Lucy Ellen Middleton. Junior earned his degree in Forest Management from Jones College and had worked at Georgia Pacific (Rosenburg) for 43 years. He was a press operator. He loved his family and friends, loved to bass fish and hunt, and loved his pets. He loved to joke and was always there when you needed him. He left us all with some great and lasting memories and will be missed dearly by those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R Middleton Sr and Lucy Ellen Middleton; an infant sister, Kathryn Lynn Middleton; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hermand Middleton and Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Holloway. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Hines Middleton; his son, Thomas "Rammie" Middleton (Janice); five grandchildren, Alex, Angi, Macon, Jada, and Jèan; four great-grandchildren, Greyson, Daniel, Tyler, and Jacob; one sister, Vicki Sue Stockton; two nephews, Steven and Jason Penney and families; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones. Visitation will be at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. with services to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment be at Springhill Cemetery. Bro. Derrick Robinson will officiate. Pallbearers will be his nephew, Steven Penney; cousins, Pee-wee Middleton, Mickey Ward, and Norman Holloway; and friends, Joey Stringer and Chase Davis.
