Mary Alice Brady

Mary Alice Brady, 81, of Stringer, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Memory Chapel with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery in Jasper County. Rev. Kenny Smith and Rev. Bill Riley will officiate. Mrs. Brady was a homemaker and a member of Fair Ridge Baptist Church. She was a great mother and grandmother, loved to sing, and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James F. Brady, Sr., as well as her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther and Ruth Ann Owens Wade; brother, L. J. Wade and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Brady. Survivors include her sons, James F. Brady, Jr., George D. Brady, Sr. (Bettie), Jimmy L. Brady, Tommy J. Brady (Tammy), Robert T. Brady, Sr. (Pam), David C. Brady (Trish), and Bobby Crumpton (Rita). Her grandchildren are Mary F. Windham, Sonny Brannon, Marlon Brannon, Nikki Thornton, Gretchen Rayner, George Brady, Jr., James Earl Brady, James Freeman Brady, III, Bo Jensen Brady, Tabitha Kirk, Thomas J. Brady, Amber M. Cochran, Robyn L. Valentine, Robert T. Brady, David C. Brady, Kayla A. Garner, Charlie Wilson, Jessica Morgan, Mandy Marie Brady, Emily Brady, Farrah Brady, Katherine Brady, and Teressa Brady; and great grandchildren, Jamie G. Howard, Abby Brannon, Sarah Brannon, Kate Brannon, Marlie Brannon, Conner B. Thornton, Erin Brady, Dixie Rayner, Earl Brady, Jr., Jaicee Brady, Luke Brady, Olivia Brady, Brooklyn Brady, Reese Daniel Brady, Dalton Kirk, Dillon Kirk, Noah Cochran, Brady Cochran, Hunter Valentine, Jacee Garner, Ein Dykes, Ellie Dykes, Marlee Garner, Tristin Simmons, Hannah Simmons, Emma Morgan, Paige Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Madi K. Wilson and Bryston Wilson; and great great grandchild, Bradyn B. Howard. Pallbearers will be Marlon Brannon, George D. Brady, Jr., James Earl Brady, Sr., James Freeman Brady, III, Thomas Brady, Robert Brady, Jr., David Brady, II, and Bo Jensen Brady. Honorary pallbearers will be the great grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff of Jasper General Nursing Home for their excellent care of their loved one. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Memory Chapel of Laurel which is in charge of the arrangements.
